Holy Sea Cow!

“A full-grown manatee, which can weigh more than 1,000 pounds, looks like the result of a genetic experiment involving a walrus and the Goodyear Blimp.”    ~~  Dave Barry  ~~

Holy Sea Cow! It has been way too long since I have posted. Suffice to say, life got in the way!
With that said, the ocean waters have cooled down, so the manatees gather in the springs where it is 72 degrees year-round. They cannot survive in temperatures below 60 degrees. Here they rest and graze on sea grass, surfacing every 20 minutes to breath.
This footage was at Three Sisters Springs in Crystal River, FL.
